Are you wondering how much longer it was going to be before I posted again??? Or how much longer before you would be able to see pictures of my very active, very talkative 2 year old??
Well the wait is over, and I promise to provide pictures of my little guy. And in less than two months there will be pictures of a new little girl to post about too.
In the last month or so I have been working, growing, spending time with my boys, and teaching myself how to crochet on my spare time ( pictures of my projects to come soon).
Since my last post in JULY...Yikes!! I didn't realize it had been that long....
Recovered from his first head wound
Drank like a puppy dog out of a rock dish
Lounged at Aunt Sheila's lake house
Hung out at the train station
Developed a love for hanging out in our bed, or as Cole refers to it "Mama's bed"
Fed ducks at the zoo
but didn't understand why they don't want to eat out of his hand
and got daring and now loves the slide :)
As you can see he is almost always on the move, and impossible to get a picture of when he is smiling! He is definitely developing quite the vocabulary, and repeats EVERYTHING that we say. For example Derek was watching football one afternoon and said, "You have got to be kidding me" and then that became Cole's favorite saying for the day! ha!
Last night Cole and I were watching a movie and I started to wonder how much longer....
he will want to hold my hand or lay in the crook of my arm while we watch a movie
or
how much longer we will copy everything I do
or
how much longer he will give me eskimo kisses and gorilla hugs
or
how much longer he will come to me when he is hurt.
I know these days of him being little are going to be over before I know it, and I want to be able to cherish each moment. He is going to be a wonderful loving big brother soon. We love him so much!
Hope you enjoyed the pictures, I promise to post again soon! Hopefully with Cole sporting one of my crocheting creations :)
Love,
allison

Hey Allison, you get such great pics of your adorable little boy! I checked out your blog (obviously), and couldn't help but laugh that Cole calls your bed "mama's bed" b/c my Allison calls our bed "mommy's bed." Must be something with working nights...she knows I sleep up there during the day (while she has a babysitter downstairs), but as far as she knows, my husband never sleeps! Congrats on your little girl to be...can't wait to see pics!
